We design and host high-impact convenings that connect African talent to mentorship, industry insights, and global opportunities, transforming inspiration into structured career outcomes.

From large-scale continental conferences to intimate community gatherings, our events are designed to activate talent, build networks, and strengthen workforce readiness across Africa.
A Continental Platform for Mentorship, Leadership & Workforce Readiness
The Global Mentorship Conference (GMC) is the flagship convening platform of I-Train Africa Foundation, connecting African youth and women to global leaders, industry experts, and workforce opportunities.

Strengthening Community, Connection & Career Growth
In January 2026, I-Train Africa Foundation hosted its first-ever Alumni Impact Gathering, bringing together members of its growing community both physically and virtually.
Held at Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Lagos, the event marked a major milestone — transitioning from digital learning to real-world community building.
This was not a conference; it was a community convergence experience.
The event featured:
Featuring representatives from:
• Lagos State Ministry of Tertiary Education
• Industry stakeholders and ecosystem leaders
Alumni shared real experiences on:
• Career growth after WFS
• Workplace readiness
• Transition into global opportunities
Participants from Operation Get Employed shared:
• Their learning journey
• Skill transformation
• Career direction and growth
Employers who have hired I-Train Africa talent shared:
• Quality of trained candidates
• Retention success stories
• Workforce readiness of alumni
Beyond panels, the gathering created space for:
• Connection
• Collaboration
• Celebration
For many participants, it was their first time meeting physically after years of online learning.
The Alumni Impact Gathering represents the third pillar of our model: Community.
We move from:
Awareness → Skills → Community
This event strengthened:
• Alumni engagement
• Peer-to-peer support
• Long-term network building
It has since led to:
• Increased community participation
• Alumni referrals and sponsorships
• Stronger program retention
